Mourning Warbler   Short Eared Owl

Daily Birding Tours

I take clients all over the great big state of Texas. Some of the main places we go and explore include the Austin and Central Texas area. Places in Travis County include such places like Hornsby Bend, Platt Lane, Reimer's Ranch, Commons Ford and Roy G. Guerrero Park near downtown Austin. Williamson County, which is the county I live in, includes great places like Granger Lake, Taylor at Murphy Park which is great for nesting herons, egrets and cormorants, the fields around Thrall and Thorndale, Devine Lake, Lakecreek Trail and Lake Georgetown. Coastal places that are great to explore are the Galveston area, where I grew up, like a lot of the beaches like on Port Bolivar, High Island, Lafitte's Cove, Quintana and the like. Corpus Area Beaches are great as well. And we can never forget about South Padre where there's always some great birds to look at, including some rare ones from time to time. Other places like north Texas in the panhandle has unique birds and all the way out to west Texas in the Guadalupe Mountains, Davis Mountains, Franklin Mountains and Chisos Mountains are always great places to explore and view all the wonderful birds and wildlife they have to offer.
